Only a few month after the unveiling of this ultimate sporting watch in 2009, Christoph Malzl, CEO of Charmex North America™ and authorized dealer of the CX Swiss Military Watch™ in the USA, proudly presented the watch that has broken all records in the depth of the sea to Dr. Eric Heiden, the legendary US Speed Skater who has broken all Olympic records by winning five gold medals at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics in 1980.

Olympic legend, Dr. Eric Heiden with Christoph Malzl of Christoph M. Jewelers™.

Christoph Malzl resides in Utah, USA as the major authorized distributor of Charmex™ and CX Swiss Military Watch™ for the US and Canada. In an interview with WELCOME 2010 he states: “We are very excited that Charmex™ and CX Swiss Military Watch™ have been selected as the official of watch brands of the WELCOME 2010 Souvenir & Collector’s Guide. As a result of this information given to millions of people through this world event, we know that there will be an enormous rush of orders. Since most of the CX watch collections are produced as special editions, we have only a limited amount of watches available at the reduced sponsor’s rate in conjunction with the celebration of this wonderful world occasion, the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010.”

At the 1980 winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY, Eric Heiden won five gold medals, the most medals ever won by a single person, in the 500, 1000, 1500, 5000, and 10,000 meter races and made him the greatest speed skater of all time.
